1. Important Notice

Please Read Carefully Before Ordering:

At Snap Skins, we take pride in delivering premium-quality customized device skins. Due to the custom-made nature of our products, we operate under a strict No Returns, No Refunds policy.

Each skin is precision-cut specifically for your selected device model and design. Once manufactured, these products cannot be resold or reused. Therefore, we urge all customers to:

  • Double-check your device model before placing an order
  • Verify your design selection carefully
  • Ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete
  • Review product specifications and application requirements

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

2. No Returns, No Refunds Policy

Refunds Are Not Provided

We do not offer refunds under any circumstances. All sales are final once your order is placed and production begins.

Returns Are Not Accepted

Due to the customized nature of our products, we do not accept returns for the following reasons:

  • Change of mind after placing the order
  • Wrong device model selected by the customer during ordering
  • Wrong design or color chosen by the customer
  • Customer dissatisfaction with the design after receiving the product
  • Application difficulties or user error during installation
  • Used, applied, or opened products (once the backing is peeled or skin is applied)
  • Minor color variations due to screen display differences
  • Buyer's remorse or financial constraints after ordering

Important: Once your order enters production (within 2 hours of placement), it cannot be returned, cancelled, or refunded.

Why This Policy Exists

Device skins are custom-manufactured specifically for your order. Each product is:

  • Cut to exact specifications for your chosen device model
  • Printed with your selected design
  • Made on-demand and cannot be resold to other customers
  • Specific to device models that may not be ordered again for months or years

This policy protects our business from losses due to custom orders that cannot be restocked or resold.

3. Replacement Eligibility (Manufacturing Defects Only)

We only offer free replacements for verified manufacturing defects or errors on our part. Replacements will be provided if:

Eligible for Replacement:

1. Wrong Item Sent (Our Mistake)

  • You received a skin for a different device model than you ordered
  • You received a different design than what you selected
  • You received the wrong color or finish variant

Requirement: Must report within 3 days of delivery with photo/video proof showing the incorrect item alongside your order invoice.

2. Manufacturing Defects

  • Printing defects: Blurry images, incorrect colors, smudged printing, or faded areas
  • Cutting errors: Misaligned cutouts for camera, ports, or buttons (exceeding 8mm variance)
  • Material defects: Tears, holes, bubbles, or discoloration in the vinyl material (before application)
  • Adhesive failure: Skin does not stick properly when applied correctly (must be unused)

Requirement: Must report within 7 days of delivery with clear photo/video evidence showing the defect on the unused product.

3. Shipping Damage

  • Package arrived visibly crushed, torn, or damaged
  • Product inside is damaged due to courier mishandling

Requirement: Must report within 24 hours of delivery with photos of both the damaged package and product.

How Replacements Work:

  • Once your replacement request is verified and approved, we will manufacture and ship a new skin at no additional cost
  • You are not required to return the defective item
  • Replacement will be shipped within 2-3 business days of approval
  • We cover the shipping cost for approved replacement orders

4. Non-Replaceable Conditions

The following situations do not qualify for replacement or any form of compensation:

Customer Errors (Not Eligible)

  • Wrong model selected: Customer chose the incorrect device model during ordering
  • Wrong design selected: Customer picked a design they later dislike
  • Incorrect address provided: Customer entered wrong or incomplete shipping details
  • Changed mind: Customer no longer wants the product after ordering
  • Found cheaper elsewhere: Customer found a better deal after ordering

Application Issues (Not Eligible)

  • User error during installation: Air bubbles, wrinkles, or misalignment due to improper application
  • Damaged during application: Skin torn or stretched while attempting to apply
  • Removed and reapplied: Adhesive loses strength after being peeled off once
  • Applied to wrong device: Customer applied the skin to a different device than intended

Normal Product Characteristics (Not Eligible)

  • Slight color variations: Colors may appear different on screens vs. physical product (±10% variance is normal)
  • Minor cutting tolerances: Vinyl cutting machines have a tolerance of ±3-5mm, which is industry standard
  • Requires stretching: Some skins need slight stretching during application for full coverage (this is normal)
  • Texture differences: Matte vs. glossy finishes may feel different than expected
  • Not 100% edge-to-edge: Some devices require small gaps at edges for proper fitment (1-2mm is normal)

Misuse or Wear (Not Eligible)

  • Scratches or damage caused after application
  • Exposure to harsh chemicals, heat, or solvents
  • Normal wear and tear after weeks or months of use
  • Peeling due to improper cleaning or device mishandling

5. Product Specifications & Tolerances

Our skins are manufactured using professional-grade equipment and premium materials. However, due to the nature of vinyl production and application:

Cutting Tolerances

  • Industry Standard: Vinyl cutting machines have a tolerance of ±3-5mm
  • Acceptable Variance: Cutouts may be slightly larger or smaller (up to 5mm difference)
  • Replacement Threshold: Only cutting errors exceeding 8mm (0.3 inches) qualify for replacement
  • Verification Required: Photo proof with a ruler/measuring tape must be provided

Vinyl Application Requirements

  • Stretching May Be Needed: Some designs require slight stretching (5-10%) during application to cover curved edges fully
  • Heat Application: Use a hairdryer on low heat for curved surfaces (edges, corners) to help vinyl conform
  • Edge Gaps: Small gaps (1-2mm) at device edges are normal and necessary for proper fitment
  • Camera/Port Cutouts: May require minor trimming with scissors for perfect alignment (this is normal)

Color & Print Quality

  • Screen Variations: Colors on your device screen may differ from the printed product due to display calibration
  • Acceptable Variance: Up to 10% difference in color shade is considered normal
  • Print Resolution: All designs are printed at 1440 DPI for maximum quality
  • UV Resistance: Inks are UV-resistant but may fade slightly after 12+ months of sun exposure (normal wear)

6. How to Request a Replacement

If your order qualifies for a replacement under Section 3 (Manufacturing Defects Only), follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Us Immediately

Report the issue within the required timeframe:

  • Shipping damage: Within 24 hours of delivery
  • Wrong item sent: Within 3 days of delivery
  • Manufacturing defects: Within 7 days of delivery

Step 2: Provide Required Information

Your replacement request must include:

  • Order number (found in your order confirmation email)
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Clear photos or video showing:
    • The defective product (still in packaging, unused)
    • Close-up of the defect or error
    • Comparison with your order invoice (for wrong items)
    • Ruler/measuring tape (for cutting variances)
  • Your original shipping address for verification

Important: Requests without proper photo/video evidence will be rejected.

Step 3: Verification Process

Our team will review your request and evidence within 24-48 hours. We will:

  • Verify the issue matches our replacement criteria
  • Check that the product is unused and in original condition
  • Confirm the issue was not caused by customer error
  • Approve or reject your replacement request with a detailed explanation

Step 4: Replacement Approval

If approved:

  • You'll receive a confirmation email with replacement details
  • A new skin will be manufactured and shipped within 2-3 business days
  • Shipping is free for approved replacement orders
  • You'll receive a tracking number once the replacement ships
  • You do not need to return the defective item

Step 5: Rejection & Appeals

If your request is rejected:

  • You'll receive a detailed explanation of why it doesn't qualify
  • You may appeal the decision by providing additional evidence within 3 days
  • Final decisions are at the discretion of Snap Skins management

7. Undelivered or Returned Parcels

Failed Delivery Due to Customer Error

If your order is undelivered or returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer
  • Customer unavailable to receive the parcel (after multiple delivery attempts)
  • Customer refused to accept the parcel
  • Customer did not respond to courier calls or messages
  • Incorrect phone number provided

Reshipping Policy

You will be required to pay the full shipping fee again to have your order resent:

  • Original shipping cost is non-refundable
  • You must pay the new shipping cost before reshipment
  • Verify your address and contact details before reordering
  • Processing time starts over once payment is received

Note: If the parcel is returned to us and you do not respond within 14 days, your order will be considered abandoned and no refund will be issued.

Courier Issues (Not Customer Fault)

If the delivery failed to due:

  • Courier lost the package
  • Parcel was damaged by the courier
  • Incorrect delivery to wrong address by courier

We will:

  • File a claim with the shipping company
  • Resend your order at no additional cost once the claim is approved
  • Provide updates throughout the process

8. Order Cancellations

Cancellation Window

Orders can only be cancelled within 2 hours of placing them.

  • Provide your order number and reason for cancellation
  • If approved, a full refund will be issued within 5-7 business days

After Production Starts (No Cancellation)

Once production has started on your customized item (after 2 hours):

  • The order cannot be cancelled
  • The order cannot be modified (design, model, address changes are not possible)
  • You are obligated to receive and pay for the order
  • No refund will be issued for cancellation attempts after production begins

Cash on Delivery (COD) Cancellations

If you place a COD order and refuse to accept it when delivered:

  • You will be blacklisted from future COD orders
  • Future orders will require advance payment only
  • You may be liable for return shipping costs
